Over the weekend
Ok, I seriously have to watch my eating again. Ever since the start of HK trip, I have been eating without guilt nor restrictions.
A few days ago, I received a SMS saying that my Diners Credit Card is on the way. I was filled with '???', tried calling back the number given but the so called hotline doesn't work. So I brushed it off, thinking they might have messaged the wrong person.
The very next day when I reached home, I saw an dubious looking envelope on my table. I thought I won something from whatever and whichever lucky draws again and quickly opened with light anticipation.
To my surprise, it is indeed a Diners Club Ace credit card. (D-uh~Ace Credit Card with $500 credit limit nia...) I was still a lil' puzzled cos' I couldn't recalling applying for such cards. I mean, even if I really wanna applhy for a mini-credit Credit Card, I wouldn't thought of applying for Diners.
(You are gonna laugh at this.) I even come to a speculation of someone (like maybe a secret admirer~Hawhawhaw) applied this for me. My brother asked if it could be Jason.
That's true...If there is so called any secret admirers, the only possible person is Jason. But I just don't think Jason would do such stuff based on his rationality (is there such word?), even though that is a lil' monetary romantic.
Anyhow I called him and he said it wasn't him,so dashed my lil' monetary romance hope about him.
I called Diners the next day and it turned up to be I participated something while paying my bills via AXS previously they have checked to make sure I am qualify to owe this credit card. Oh brudder~such d-uh marketing scheme.
Another useless and I-am-not-gonna-be-activating-it card in my wallet now.
So come Friday and I met up with my favourite ladies at town.
I have no idea that DFS Galleria has changed so much. It used to be such a boring shopping place which I think it is just to 'cheat' tourists' money. Now that Chanel foundation is such a steal and it is tempting me.
Have you even touch a Chanel's powder before? It is so damn smooth that you thought you are touching silk.
We had dinner at our old hunts - Creme Bistro again. They ALWAYS don't have corn soup whenever we go to patronise, other than the very first time which got all of us addicted.
They served their soups in plates and we ordered 2. (that was chicken soup by the way) I asked for 4 bowls so that we could share and they split the 2 plates of soup into 4 bowls for us....Which is pretty surprising that their 1 bowl of soup (assuming it is equivalent to that half plate) is just nice for one pax's filling. That is much more economical too!
So if you are going with another friend, just ordered a plate and ask to split.
Their pastas however was way below standard that night. It is also funy that they served a plate first and the remaining 3 very much later.
The servings (be it the pasta or the sauce) were not balanced too,not very appetisizing either.
Dinner that night proved to be a lil' mistake to visit there. Boo!
We hung at McCafe afterwhich and it was such a lovely night to be with my girls. I just can't imagine losing their companion one day. It would be such a grief for me.
Photos still with Yin and let's just see when can we receive them. Lolx.
And with great thanks to Irene who is just so damnnnn~ sweet, she disappeared for a while just to get us a Hilton mooncake each.

My first atas mooncake received for this year. Many thanks, dearie. We love you sooooo~much. And I really, really, really won't be able to take it if you would be stationed overseas with your hubby. How can I imagine life in SG without you anymore? Sigh...emos aside, cherish the moments now.
Working on Saturday is such a BORE! I spent my time trying not to close my eyes from 9am to 12.45pm.
I have intend to go Bt Timah, meeting Jason at Stevens Road when he told me that he would be driving. So YAY~no BUS-pooling.
The passenger in the passenger seat is always happy.
We went to Bt.Timah marketplace for our makan session and I ate (REALLY) alot yesterday.
This is my high calories & cholestrol and alot more Katong laksa. (which isn't very nice lah.)
This is his fried carrot cake which I helpfully, shared as well.
-gulit-
After eating, we walked around the neighbourhood, raked off some stuff from Guardians and then we saw Myke's Oven.
All that pastries are going on 50% sale, I bought them and took one.
I bought their mooncakes too, namely 2 durians,1 green tea and 1 lian rong. All traditional skins and I like it cos' it is not too sweet. Cheap too. Total price of those pastries and mooncakes is $16.80. Ok,right? Plus the sales gal is really friendly and cute.
A peek at their plain looking mooncakes.
We drove down to Bt.Timah Plaza thereafter.
You would see this eatery at Lv 1 or B1. I like that place cos' it is pretty old and cosy. Plus factor is there is not much people. Jason told me this is the ex-Waffletown before they shifted to Balmoral.
Now it is occupied by Wishbone.

I visited Wishbone think 2 years back?(Damn! How come it is like 2 years plus back when it is like yesterday in my memories.) Jason and I shared a banana split then and I was amazed at their price.
I didn't paid much attention to other items in their menu then and thought it is a good place to dine without blowing a hole in your pockets.
Coming today, I still don't think it is very expensive to dine there except I took a closer look at their ice-cream menu.
It is not your normal ice cream like menu out there and I think the banana split is the only more normal in it. Most of it is like pretty coconut based and having a laksa earlier on, I don't think it is wise to have anymore thing that is coconut.

I ordered this Banana Carnival - 2 scoops of banana ice cream with small slices of bananas on the side and "generous" topping of peanuts and choco fudge. (right.)
The plus side is that only costs you $4.90.
The minus side - I can't finish that despite my smug look and refusing to share with Jason.
When I couldn't finished, I told Jason that I was so full that my jeans could burst.
Who knows that joker immediately covered his nose with a very deadpan look. I was asking him "what??!"
He said, "Eee yer...now if you fart would be very smelly. At least with the jeans, there is a filter. Now your jeans burst liao, the fart would go through no filter."
WTH!!Trust my boyfriend to come up with something like that...LOLX!
(wha lao...my eyes are gonna pop from uploading and organizing the HK photos to Friendster lo.)
We went to Kovan mall for a while before going back to my home for dinner,

Pretty cute looking cakes.
That's it. I'm gonna have my lunch before the housework. Looking at the comp is such a pain!
